Here comes Auntie Mary. Break out the Colin Firth.

I'm heading to the WDC area for a week. My friend Racheal is one of the 5 1/2 people I know who are pregnant right now (one friend is having twins so I think she counts as 1 1/2). Racheal is on bed rest and her hubby is heading out on a business trip. I'm going to help her out and care for her kitty cats. I'm also loading up my suitcase with a collection of romantic comedy DVDs. How many times can we watch Colin Firth for 6 hours in Pride & Prejudice?

Racheal's having internet installation issues in the new place so I might not have internet access...and no, my phone isn't cool enough to have web access.

The shuttle is coming tomorrow at 4 am. Have I packed? No. What am I doing writing this?! Gotta go!

    Have a good time! Hopefully you can get out to the Newseum, even if that is one of the worst words ever.

    When I complained to a former boss about the AWFUL Winona Rider version of P&P, she promptly loaned me her six hours of the BBC DVDs. Bliss!

    hi mary!! i've seen the BBC P&P a bunch of times too... my mom ordered it via the telephone on VHS, a long time ago, haha!! she now has it on DVD though...

    Have a great trip! The only limit to CF watching is the hours in the day. Of course, certain scenes (lake, gazing as Elizabeth plays piano, dance, both proposals) will be watched multiple times, so that will skew the final numbers.
