This tart is supposed to have raspberries but the ones from Chile didn't look so great, so I subbed these New Zealand blueberries. And since I didn't feel like eating lots of butter, I skipped the tart shell. So, here is the Soft Chocolate and Blueberry Tartless Tart.
The combo of blueberries and chocolate is yummy. I ate this warm and enjoyed it very much! Be sure to check out the other Tuesdays with Dorie bakers!

This tart looks very similar to the chocolate cake I made the other day, so I can imagine how good this was with the addition of blueberries! Yum.
ReplyDeleteI was actually considering make a pieless Lemon pie this week, so this post felt especially timely! Sometimes and only sometimes, crust is expendable.
ReplyDeleteI have had the hardest time adjusting to DST. I love the extra light at night, but I hate waking up in the dark. Next year I'm going to implement your 10 minute increment plan.
ReplyDeleteI love that you made this without the crust! What a great idea.
Sounds like a perfect treat for my friend Lisa. She will be visiting on Sunday and is an absolute chocolate/ blueberry fan.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for the beach picture. We still have beautiful snow covered mountains here in Colorado.
I bet it was terrific with blueberries! I did mine plain because raspberries were crazy expensive, but I definitely want to revisit it when summer is here.
ReplyDeleteGreat pic - the extra light at night is so wonderful.
I love DST - it's great to come home from work with the sun still up.
ReplyDeleteI like how you went crustless...less fuss, with the same delicious results!
Isn't the daylight wonderful - at night? I've got to try blueberries and chocolate - one of those bizarre, delicious combos I'm sure! Happy DST!
ReplyDeletethat's a great idea...like a little brownie-pudding cup! i'm loving the little bit of extra sun in the afternoon, too!
ReplyDeleteThat looks AMAZING! Wow. Definitely filed away in my "to make" document.
ReplyDeleteEven though I love the shortbread crust, I like your idea of just making the filling.
ReplyDeleteNormally, I don't mind DST, but this time I really needed that extra hour to finish one of my projects. Finally sent it off at 2 am. I'm still trying to recover.
