National Bundt Day 2010 - Round Up!

I Like Big Bundts
November 15, 2010 was National Bundt Day! Oh my goodness! So many people baked Bundts to celebrate. I'm overwhelmed by the Bundt love.

Last year, I had an impressive 41 Bundts in the Round Up. This year, an amazing 86 (yes, eighty-six!!) Bundts are in the Round Up!

I loved reading each post and email. Some used your grandmother's or mother's bundt pans. Some used this holiday to run out and buy a new one. Some had a Bundt party. Awesomeness.

However, your descriptions about my obsession with the world's perfect cake vehicle, the Bundt and my crazy adventure again cracked me up!
"This year Mary is closing in on her 40th birthday so dementia must be setting in as she has inexplicably decided to do it once again this year!" Trevor
"That crazy lady over at The Food Librarian has taken it upon herself to make yet another 30 days of Bundt cakes..." Mrsblocko
We got some press too! Check out these mentions in the kitchn, Food News Journal, Fine Cooking and the American Libraries Association Direct

I listed the states and countries of the entries...Bundt love is all over the map! I've linked to the blog, so please click through to find some yummy recipes. If the baker doesn't have a blog, you'll see an asterisk by their name. I ended up placing three orders with JustJenn Designs for more and more buttons! (Those who sent me proof of their Bundt by 11/21/2010 will receive a JustJenn Designs "I Like Big Bundts" button. You can buy more of these cute buttons and lots of other great stuff on my friend's Jenn's website)

Thank you soooo much for your aBUNDTant enthusiasm for the Bundt. (Oh, yes, the puns are endless)!
With much Bundt love and appreciation, - mary the food librarian

I made a brown sugar pecan bundt on the weekend (we were going to a friend's house for supper) and it's all gone, so I think I need to make a new flavour for dessert for tonight - I think I'm going to try the cake that Sandy from PA made - the Chocolate Chip Marble Bundt Cake :D
