Someone "conveniently" leaves them on your porch?
Or did you plant all the seeds in the packet because they so small (really, how many zucchini could result?!)...and now you are "rewarded" with zucchini coming out of, well, you know?
Here's something to do with your gift from the garden. Make King Arthur's Chocolate Zucchini Cake. Em of the Repressed Pastry Chef made this recently and I knew I would be blessed with another zucchini soon, so I quickly bookmarked it. Em made a chocolate ganache topping. I'm not a huge zucchini fan unless it's in a sweet bread or a cake. This looks amazing! You would never guess there is zucchini in it.

chocolate and zucchini is one of my favorite cakes- yum! I usually bake mine in a bundt though.
I made this recipe last night and unfortunately for me, this did not come out anywhere near cake-like or moist as I would have liked. It was dense and very dry :( I was SO excited to make this cake, too. I'd love to hear if anyone else has had this outcome.

Oh, boy - I just made a zucchini bread that my husband is devouring, but this little number looks like it has my name written all over it!
I went on the hunt a few weeks ago for zucchini recipes and ran in to Em's also. So I made this cake. DELISH! It's a great, moist, chocolate cake!
