Cocoa-Nana Bread - Tuesdays with Dorie
For this week's Tuesdays with Dorie selection, Steph of Obsessed with Baking chose Cocoa-Nana Bread on page 46 of Dorie's book, Baking: From My Home to Yours.

Speaking of Dorie Greenspan, she announced exciting news! Dorie and her son Josh are opening a pop-up store COOKIEBAR!
It's in New York from Monday, February 8 until Saturday, February 13. If you are in New York, pick up some cookies for me, okay? ;)

Cocoa-Nana Bread - Tuesdays with Dorie
Of course, I made it into a small 6-cup Bundt and a couple mini loaves. If it can fit into a Bundt, I'm going to make it.

Cocoa-Nana Bread - Tuesdays with Dorie
I made this as soon as the January recipes were announced, and have no memory of it! This is why I take photos...so I can remember a few things in my life. :) I don't remember it knocking my socks off, so I think I'll stick to regular banana bread or banana bread with chocolate chips if I want some chocolate.

Be sure to check out the other Tuesdays with Dorie bakers!

I love bundt cakes, and as often as possible, I try to turn every cake into one. I love that you did it here too!

I really like your paper loaf pans -- those are fabulous. Of course, the bundt is wonderful, too! Sorry this didn't knock your socks off. I made it, but I don't like bananas, so I have no clue how it tasted.

I hoped you'd make a bundt. Your photos always inspired me.

I love the bundt look! I will have to try that on my next quick bread adventure.

Your mini loaves are so pretty! Thanks for baking along Mary!

I think this one was begging to be bundt-ed. It looks delicious and chocolatey, but I like banana things to taste like banana, myself. And how exciting about Dorie's cookiebar...

looks great, even if you can't remember it!! Both the bundt and the mini loaves really look spectacular. I really enjoyed this one!

Cute mini bundt! I love it.
Aren't you so jealous that you can't go to Dorie's little cookie shop?
Great job!

Looks great. Beautiful photos. I almost made this in the bundt pan I used for the lemon walnut sour cream pound cake, but went with the loaf pan instead. Hubby liked it. Me? Not so much.

I am going to go to that store every day that it is open! I can't WAIT! The cake looks GREAT!

This is perfect bundt material. I'll have to remember that for next time. This one clicked with me in a big way. I really want more now.

Wait wait. You like bundt cakes? NO WAY! hehe. Bummer it wasn't very memorable then again it did have bananas so I can see why it wouldn't be. Then again that could be from my banana bias. ;)

I like your bundt, but love your cute lil mini-loaves!

We need to concoct an excuse (and find the $$) to fly to NYC to eat Dorie's cookies! :)

I'm just so shocked that you made a bundt! ;)
Love me some banana cake, that banana bundt you picked was the bomb, this choco/nana bread, wasn't the greatest. And yes, I'd love to try the Dorie cookies in NYC, too!

Love all of your photos Mary! This one didn't wow me either. I made muffins and they were ok, but not among my favorite TWD recipes.

Those mini liners are wonderful - and your Cocoa-Nana Bundt is (as usual) a bundt beauty - even though your memory is lacking! Everything tastes and looks great with a little dusting of powdered sugar, don't you think? Nicely done!

Beautiful Bundt, as always. And thanks for sharing the info about the pop-up store. It's going to be walking distance from my office so I will definitely be there once or twice or three times. hehe

Thank goodness for cameras! Sometimes I look at my food pics and try to remember how I felt about the food. Too funny! Love that little bundt.

Your bundt looks so pretty and I like the coco and banana combination. This is something new to get busy with.

This recipe definitely had the texture for the bundt pan. Nice with the powdered sugar too.
